Description of Portions

Portions 14 & 15

Located on the western part of the park. Quickly accessible from the public road.

Portions 17 – 25

Located on a very slightly declining south facing slope. View over the plain which is a popular grazing area in the early mornings and late afternoons. Quickly accessible from the main gate and public road.

Portions 50 – 54

Located on the west, southwest and northwest facing slopes. View over waterhole and plain with Matimba and hills in the background. The plain is a popular grazing area early morning and late afternoon. The waterhole attracts a variety of game and birds. Good game viewing and spectacular sunset views.

Portions 45 & 46

These two portions are very special as the building terrains of these portions are near a kloof. The kloof and rock formations create a wonderful natural rustic atmosphere.

Portions 29 – 48

Located on the north facing slopes on the edge of the plateau and have a beautiful wide angled view over a plain with several waterholes and koppies with "Bulklip" and sand hills in the distance. Some of the portions have a spectacular wide view of more than 180°. Waterholes and grazing on the plain attract game and birds. Good game viewing from selected building terrains. The mainly eastern wind breeze continuously to give relieve from the hot summer climate. These portions are characterized by flat rocky ledges and scattered rocks which can lead to very interesting architecture.

Portions 55 – 67

Located on the southern border of the park on the plateau. The topography of the portions is flat and large Marula trees characterize most of the portions.
